Cardio AiRo: A New Concept for High-Quality Cardiac SPECT Imaging

Unique Design with a New Concept

This cardiac SPECT system features an innovative open gantry design that enhances patient comfort especially for those with claustrophobia.
This compact and single head configuration, it delivers image quality in comparison with conventional dual head systems.
With advanced Al-driven optimization, the scanner maintains standard acquisition time, enabling fast and reliable imaging. This efficiency not only shortens overall scan duration but also increases daily patient throughput without compromising diagnostic accuracy.

Revealing the Heart's Story Empowered by Smart Detector

By leveraging advanced digital and smart detector technology. The Cardi um Ai Ro generates high resolution images of the heart. Clinicians can confidently evaluate myocardial perfusion, detect coronary artery disease (CAD). and assess cardiac function. The system's Al assisted software and tailored resolution recovery reconstruction algorithms enable detailed visualization of ischemia, infarction, and myocardial viability.

Detailed Description of Numbered Components - Cardium AirRo SPECT System

  • Small FOV Smart Detector
A compact, intelligent detector with a small Field of View (FOV), optimized for cardiac imaging. It offers high spatial resolution.
  • High-Quality Images through High-Sensitivity Collimator and Minimum Patient-to-Detector Distance
The system minimizes the distance between the patient and the detector, which significantly enhances image resolution and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Patient Table
Designed to ensure both comfort and stability throughout the scan with low attenuation design, which minimizes the absorption of gamma rays.
  • Robotic Arm for Better Positioning of the Detector
An advanced robotic mechanism that enables precise and synchronized positioning of the detector relative to the patient.
  • Patient-Friendly Open-Gantry Design
This design is particularly beneficial for claustrophobic patients, as it provides a more open, less confining scanning environment.

Key Features

  • Smallest Footprint
Compact design allows installation in space-limited facilities.
  • Dedicated Reconstruction Algorithm
Custom algorithms for cardiac SPECT enhance resolution, contrast, and uniformity delivering more accurate cardiac assessments.
  • Robotic Gantry Movement
The fully automated system ensures precise patient positioning, improved comfort, and reproducible detector alignment.
  • Al-Enhanced Imaging
Artificial intelligence optimizes image processing, motion correction and scaning protocols improving consistency and reducing operator workload.
  • Miniaturized High-Performance Detectors
Its smart and small detector provides superior spatial resolution and sensitivity
  • Easy and fast Maintenance
The system is designed for easy and quick maintenance procedures, reducing system downtime and operational expenses.

Clinical Applications

  • lschemia vs. Infarction Assessment
Differentiates between reversible ischemia and permanent myocardial damage.
  • Viability Assessment for Surgery Candidates
Detects hibernating myocardium to support coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) decisions.
  • Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI)
Assessment of the blood flow under rest and stress to detect ischemia or infarction.
  • Pre & Post Revascularization Evaluation
Guides decisions on interventions and monitors post-procedure perfusion.
  • Cardiac Function & Ejection Fraction Analysis
Evaluation of wall motion, wall thickening, and ejection fraction with high accuracy.
  • Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) Detection
Identifies and grades areas of reduced perfusion, supports non-invasive CAD evaluation.

Service & Maintenance

The service & maintenance unit of Parto Negar Persia Company has been set up in 2009 at the same time as the beginning of the company's activity, and with the increase of variety and number of products of the company, this section has expanded and methods of responding to customers and customer surveys have been improved.

Currently, 6 personnel consisting of two senior technical engineers, two technical engineers and two technical technicians are working in this department and provide their services, especially in the field of repair, maintenance and service of nuclear medical imaging systems.

It is also hoped that this year, with the appointment of Dr. Teymourian, with more than ten years of experience in the field of service and maintenance of nuclear medical systems, as the management of the service and maintenance department, the services of this department will be provided with higher speed and quality.

Providing these services in Tehran is less than 24 hours and in other cities is less than 72 hours. Due to the fact that all the products of the company are domestically produced, spare parts for all relevant parts are available in the company and the sleep time of the systems has been reduced to a minimum.
